As Sastrify scales, Frieda Möcker, Head of People & Culture, drives growth with the Sastrify People Team by focusing on curating an environment that enables impact on all levels. With a progressive mindset, she views HR not merely as a support function, but as a key driver for achieving company goals through enablement and data-driven decisions.
She defines the People Team as the Product Managers of the Employee Experience – a subscription product employees buy into on a monthly basis. Based on this she applies principles and methodologies from other business areas like Product Management and Experience Design to the People & Culture space.
Frieda’s strategy centers on a Product-Led People function that continuously provides increasing value, ensuring employees renew their “subscriptions” (employment), stay engaged and grow in a high-impact environment.

Frieda and her team worked closely with peopleIX to roll-out the platform and bring their vision of an Employee Health Score to life. peopleIX focused on developing the Attrition Risk featrue based on preliminary thoughts, concepts and inputs shared by the Sastrify People Team.
Two main questions guided this development:
The co-developed Attrition Risk board aggregates these insights, making it possible to identify and manage risks proactively. With peopleIX, Sastrify’s People function transitions from reactive HR practices to a data-driven, proactive strategy.
Using peopleIX insights, Frieda and her team hold check-ins with leaders, providing clear data stories that help guide and coach them in their decision-making processes. This approach ensures that people-related decisions are well-informed, backed by data and aligned with business objectives.

Frieda’s favorite aspect of peopleIX is how it allows her to fully realize her vision of building a Product-Led and data-informed People function. By integrating data and analytics into people decision-making, the platform empowers her team to act with confidence, aligning People initiatives with business outcomes.
Looking ahead, Frieda plans to expand Sastrify’s use of peopleIX, incorporating predictive workfoce planning and advanced churn prediction models. She is also focused on educating her peers in the People & Culture space on how to think and act more like product managers—using data to design impactful people processes that align directly with company goals.
